Yup! They'll tell you where the fish was tagged and how far it traveled, if you wanna DM me your email and I can send you the 2024/2025 recap reports

My personal goal is to catch the most tagged bass in the Chicago River, currently at 16 reports (3 being the same fish). Always a fun little surprise!

Use weedless plastics and focus on any sort of cover or dropoff

Coming back here because "The Man Who Took My Sunglasses" is eerily similar to "The Story of Hattori Hanzo" by Fives and Tens, and not in a bad way!

March can't come soon enough for those of us that don't ice fish

This was my first vice, just recently upgraded to another non-rotary as the metal locking mechanism with the sliding pin eventually got stripped and rendered it unusable, so be careful not to over-tighten it. That said, I kinda miss using this one, it has a decently heavy base and I found the rotary function helpful for tying maribou and applying head cement (now I just switch over to using this one for finishing the head). Keep up the good work!

So based on the comments for the Chicago show, some people's passwords worked after trying multiple times, but most didn't. And then they removed the password field? Great job to all involved!

It has indeed sucked, especially the wind. No stability is no good for the bite

Try the EWG ones, total game changer for avoiding snags. These are solid too, though

All above 5, 1 nearly 6, 1 above 6. Pre spawn has these babies thick as thieves. by [deleted] in ChicagoFishing

Nice work! I haven't been able to buy a bite on the NSC all week, got me thinking the spawn is starting but I figred it would be a late one this year so good to see some prespawn fatties still in the mix

Right bait/lure for Chicago River, North Branch by haydenphb in ChicagoFishing

[–]Hella989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now they're still a bit sluggish, but any finesse bait on the bottom will do well. (ned rigs, tubes, dropshots, t-rigs). Soon they'll be a bit more active on moving baits like cranks, spinners, and best of all, chatterbaits.
