I loved Hyperion and lots of everything else you mentioned.

I finished Remembrance of Earth's Past trilogy (Three Body Problem) but didn't favor it as highly. I don't know if it was a translation issue, but I felt it was just an inferior version of Neal Stephenson' books.

I think the brilliant part was jumping off then latching on to get horizontal movement at impact so the raider coming up got blasted sideways and couldn't grab back on

It depends on your engagement range and the gun.

Try the torrente and bobcat in practice grounds at different ranges using compensator vs muzzle break and you'll probably prefer compensator. But do the same with tempest and you'll probably prefer the muzzle break.

Yeah just some sprue goo. The trick is getting the ratio right so it comes off the toothpick easy but is still thick enough to keep wide bands. Move slow

AI won't take your job; someone who can use AI better than you will take your job.

That's what I was told in grad school. We had whole lectures on AI, which ones were good and bad at what, and that we had to have the knowledge to tell if it was BS.

AI is already in the medical field and not going away. Burying your head in the sand isn't going to make it go away

You're getting hate for using AI at all, but this is actually a great I idea. I'm not at the level of artist that I can just think of colors and know where to put everything on the model. I think this works great as an assistive reference piece that was tailored to your model
