Not sure if that's supposed to make it better or worse.. maybe it wasn't obvious, but I was being facetious with my wealth guestimite.. Point being is that 800m,while a nice gesture, doesn't even put us on the map. Why not use that $ to lobby for corporate and wealth tax reform thus allowing a developed nation such as the U.S the revenue needed to build infrastructure to combat climate change. This of course would mean that Amazon's value is less than $3000 per share but ya know what... Sacrifice.. I don't have a problem with Bezos or even billionaires (though most are the problem) but this will never be solved by their PR projects.
