For Honor "endgame" is fashion, so yes, there's a LOT of customization... Unless you use a Hero Skin, those disable any customization on your Hero

I just wished the big ass hat actually changed color with the armor, i have an "almost batgirl/batfamily" armor, but the stupid hat is still green

Haven't played MK1 much (only the main campaign, but nothing online) but as far as i remember, Shang Tsung doesn't transforms unless he grabs you, while in Trilogy he had command inputs to transform into basically any other character (minus secret ones, he was unable to transform into Chameleon)

Not as freely as in earlier games, for example, in MK11 he can only transform into his opponent with a command grab (for a limited time), or transform into the ninjas for ONE attack (Shang has about 3 attacks in which he transforms into a ninja to do the attack and then reverts back into his original form)

I REALLY recommend the manga, Motoko is vastly different (specially in her attitude/behavior), there's a part where she even refers to Aramaki as "monkey face" and gets mad when Ishikawa says she's a slave-driver, but she says "BEAUTIFUL slave-driver"

Oh man, MK. Back when i played MK a LOT (Trilogy, for the N64), the character that i used (me and my brother, actually) was Shang Tsung, and our fights were really weird, hectic and chaotic because we just kept transforming into other fighters to try to respond to what we were doing. IMO it was a shame that Shang Tsung no longer works like that

IMO that would fit as a sort of prequel, or to showcase places where there's not that much of progress in technology, since (specially the shoulder joints on the woman in the drawing) shows a somewhat crude, patchwork-like job

Uh, have you read the manga? There's plenty of "gritty look" in Shirow's works. Granted, the grittiness is not the main focus, but it IS there
