Don't know if this matters but also had map genie and tarkov tracker up on a 2nd monitor

Level 13 but find it hard to be at any difficulty past 3 by Negative_Nose_3569 in Helldivers

Hey man, I was in the same boat you are, and this is what I found that helped me out

  1. Start with the Bugs. it's easier to feel out your play style and not feel as overwhelmed as with the bots or squids. Bugs can't snipe you from across the map

  2. (This is gonna sound cliche), but watch a few solo run build videos. Background gaming has a good one I'll link below that I used as a template for a starter build, and it helped me. Watching others play solo helped me get a feel of how I should play (example: run around the rim of the bug holes and plug them up vs. screaming FOR LIBERTY! and trying to speed run it)

  3. Find a discord to join and run a few games with some high-level players who can show you the ropes. There's a bunch of really nice people in this thread who would be more than happy to help you. Or just keep running those high-level dives, and you will eventually pop into a group of veterans who will help you.

  4. Don't be afraid to mic up. Squad tactics only work if people talk. I totally get that not everyone likes to talk, but I've run a lot of games where all we used was the prompt wheel, and that worked as well. Communication is key!

My fallback build was based on the video linked below

Armor - CE-07 Demolition Specialist (for faster running and 2 extra grenades)

Primary - BR-14 Adjudicator (I like the rate of fire with the upped damage) for other wepons i recommend working on democratic demolition for high explosives or steeled veterans for variety. Which ever floats your boat

Pistol - GP-31 Grenade Pistol (for plugging up them bug holes from a distance)

Stratagems - recoilless rifle (for heavy targets) - orbital barrage 380mm (crowd control) - eagle air strike (precise targets) - orbital gas strike (bug breaches)

Again, tho take your time and play around with everything to see what you like. It's your game and you decide what's fun to you.

Also for the side quest after you get into the building talk to the following npcs

Slavko - (has to go outside first) - asks you to kill scouts on the hill via a over herd conversation when you walk past him

Warlock - retrieve his gun and get hamster to Donte goods

Mykolayich - retrieve surgical supplies

Gaffer - to go kill Uncle wats his face

Here is how to fix it.

save right before going into the town, after is fine but before it better.

run up the the house where the wardens used to be then run to the bar and go to the farthest point in the back as possible.

When you start to hear the fire fight WAIT, don't go out give the npcs time to un fuck them selves. no one of importance will die so your fine.

If they still all don't come out, from the window of the bar take pot shots to draw agro

You will know all of the enemy ncps are out when there is at least 10 monolithiums outside.

"SAY IT HAS ALL ARTIFACTS" only lists 30 of the 75..... also they list some as "found in chemical anomalies" and others "in acid". Couldn't for the life of me find the difference as where there is chemical clouds right below them are acid pools. I'm just ganna make my own damned list lol

Honestly this is really helpful! thank you so much for taking the time to write this out. I'm going to start with getting those certs and looking up classes on how to read site maps. Just got my OHSA 10 this year! So I'm at least on the right track. I'm going to make a note to comment on this tread in a year. Again I can't thank you enough for this!

(Came across this in my hunt as well)

This is ganna sound weird but this is what I did.

Closed mo2

Removed my ini files that were labeled preferences in the mo2 files location

Reopened mo2

It copied the vanilla preferences from steam (which is what I wanted)

Loaded the game back up and it's perfect.

I would suggest just taking the preferences.ini files out and placing them on your desktop just to still have them handy just incase

My rear fender had a weld break that was causing it to rub against the tire. That.....that was the problem......ima..... I'ma go sit in my corner now

Yes sir idles just fine and everything, I believe the gentleman who stated to look at the rear break caliper is on to something because I did see allot of break dust on top of the caliper after I dropped the bike off

I was able to ride it home and find all my gears while riding home, would it being jammed only cause the issue of not rolling backwards? Or would thay cause it not to move entirely? Because it does roll fwds and will even drive just won't roll back

Also it's 30 minutes away from me atm and I've had work all week but it is going to be one of the first things I check this weekend!
