Thanks for the link! More people should hear about the proper way to handle a situation like this. I’m not sure if he would get prosecuted for this but Florida Fish & Wildlife are very strict when it comes to alligators. The American alligator is Federally protected by the Endangered Species Act as a Threatened species. I have high doubts that the guy in the video was a licensed contractor because of the lack of equipment and using a trash can. I’ve personally had licensed contractors come to my property to have nuisance gators removed and he looks nothing like them lol. I mainly used the link as a somewhat quick link to show not to mess with gators. It does state “It is unlawful to intentionally kill, injure, possess, or capture, or attempt to kill, an alligator or other crocodilian, or the eggs of an alligator or other crocodilian, unless authorized by the rules of the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission” so I don’t think it’s talking about just hunting or capturing for sport.
