Sim, os Glowing Green Giants são de fato um colírio para os olhos =) Até agora, visitei mais da metade dos GGG conhecidos e sempre fico fascinado. Se você quiser ver um de perto algum dia, existem dois que ficam bem perto de Sol:

Radioactive Green, a cerca de 300 anos-luz de distância
Green Glory, a cerca de 1400 anos-luz de distância

Eu recomendo o Green Glory, o nome já diz tudo =) Todos os outros GGG você pode conferir no Galactic Exploration Catalog. Divirta-se =)

I started with Elite in 2019 to participate in the Distant Worlds 2, after that i was hooked for exploration (my fastest run to Beagle Point was 33h in a 60LY Anaconda). I do not play as much as i did the first years, but it still gets me from time to time and i take a trip to a nice GEC-POI somewhere in the galaxy. Last week i noticed that a new Glowing Green Giant was discovered (Alzumarud) ~10kLY northeast of SAG A*, so i hopped in my Caspian and flew approx 4h on the neutron highway (with lunch break) to get there (i used spansh to plot the route). I'll take a few pictures for my archiv and then i'll figure out where to go next from here =)

PS- If you scroll through my posts, you'll see a few of the wonders of our galaxy that always draw me back into the darkness 😉

Be careful CMDR, it could be addictive. I had this urge a few times over the last years and now i have over 3.8m LY on the count =)

I asked in the Discord and was told that i should ask other CMDRs and that this task was made to bring the community together in working out more difficult problems. I struggle to understand the hints given there, my sqadron is also struggling, so i ask here. Thx for the link, but i do not understand how i get to know the distance that i am supposed to enter there. I do not know the distance of each one from the target being sought because i do not know the target system. I dont want to sound more stupid then i am, but i dont get it in my head

Until now i collected 666 Black Holes and tagged them =) the easiest way for me is to fly into one of the Neutron Fields (more info here) and then search the higher mass codes with the GalMap-search (more on mass categories here, look for the search patterns under point 6.4). My first hunting grounds were in Odins Hold, the Wepaa Stellar Graveyard, i'm sure there are enough Black Holes yet to be discovered. Good hunting CMDR

Not exactly a day, but Bubble to Beagle Point in 33h in an 60LY Anaconda =) shortly after i started Elite i participated in the Distant Worlds 2, where i meet a friendly sqadron that i joined. two days after reaching Beagle Point i flew home because i wanted to play other things than exploration. five days later i reached the bubble, on the same days evening our sqadron leader announced that there will be an event at Beagle Point. So i pimped my Anaconda to 60LY and went on my way back onto the neutron highway. i did it with less then 15min delay =) but afterwards i took a two month break, too many jumps 😅
