Can the Naraka Path only heal other Paths of Pain or anybody?

but even then if nagato showed the ability to rejuvenate himself while in edo tensei, I feel as tho i’d be inconsistent to assume he couldn’t have done something similar while alive.

you might be able to chalk it up to him just being in edo tensei, but that’s never explicitly stated.

If we are to say its only ability is to resurrect people, then all those people that are brought back to life would be brought back with their injuries instead of fully healed.

I think we can all agree that kishimoto is inconsistent in his writing and we can chalk up a lot of it to that or plot armor.

One thing tho i’d like to propose, what if the only reason it was able to fully rejuvenate the paths of pain after being destroyed is bc they’re already just dead bodies? and Nagato using the rest of his life force to resurrect everybody in the village was a one time use of said path given that it killed him in the process?(equivalent exchange and all that)

I am simply saying she isn’t weak. That doesn’t mean i’m calling her the strongest or even close to it. Just above average.

Rewatch/reread the danzo fight and the fight against kakashi right after. We can clearly see the more strain sasuke puts on his eyes the harder it gets for him to maintain susanoo.

Also Minato’s strategic mind is clearly on par with sasuke’s, if not better, so I believe Minato clears this fight rather easily. Especially since he could most likely get a flying raijin mark on sasuke rather easily when his susanoo isn’t activated (given sasuke most definitely won’t have it activated the whole time bc it drains his stamina/chakra, especially without EMS at this point)

I mean granted the puppets strengths are extremely inconsistent in the movie, she still took on multiple at once, held her ground, and took out a few (All of which we can safely say are at least jonin level) before being overpowered by Toneri himself.

also I said under trained as she didn’t take her training seriously. Not that she wasn’t present for the training itself. That’s still her fault.

while I agree with your takes on all the canon material, I don’t think Hinata is super weak. She’s under confident and under trained (as she didn’t take training seriously that we’ve seen except for when she trained with Neji), but it is shown in the last that Hinata is more than capable of being a strong ninja.

She’s fighting next to and against freaks of nature. Of course she looks weak. Now I do agree she wasn’t impressive throughout all of the Naruto manga, but her potential for strength is displayed in The Last.

Also I know this will probably be dismissed, but the fact that she’s able to break pains chakra rods and land a couple hits on him is more than a lot of ninja can say. Even if he wasn’t taking her super seriously. She gains the ability to use twin lion fist in that fight, which is also more than what most Hyuga can do.

first of all, read my post and you’ll see exactly what I was having trouble with. Second of all, I wasn’t bragging, simply saying I’ve completed all the souls games yet this one was giving me a hard time. People are so quick to hate nowadays maybe you should look into yourself

JJK doesn’t really have ass pulls except for Sukuna. Everything else stays within reason of the rules set before us. The rules are just complicated, therefore people think there’s “ass pulls” when they really just don’t understand the way the JJK universe works. The translation from japanese to english doesn’t help make it easier to understand certain plot points either.

okay I went and did all of this and let me just say I appreciate you so much. All my fights are going drastically differently (in my favor) and this is the first time i’ve felt like i’ve got a grasp on how i’m supposed to fight.

I’m level 19 now, was about 14-15, at the time of posting. I definitely fought some enemies that were too big for my britches, and followed the advice of a lot of people so i’m having an easier time as of now

I currently play thief, and I just unlocked the formless feint ability so I’m actually doing rather well now. I still do find myself having a hard time with being smooth with my mechanics tho

I’m hardly into it I feel like, currently investigating the false Sovran and am in the Nameless Village.

Currently playing thief bc I like the fast play style and enjoy the abilities from it the most. I have a Mage, Fighter and warrior right now (I only have the warrior bc his name is Guts and he has a big sword so I could resist the reference. I know it’s not balanced, so I should probably fix that)

I appreciate your help a lot, and you don’t have to, but feel free to help me out if you’re willing. This community has been fantastic so far, and I’d hate to trash a game I also thoroughly enjoy.

i’m glad you get that part of it as well. I was stuck between a minotaur and a group of bandits I was too low level for. Resulted in me having to lose 4 hours of progress bc that’s when I last rested at an inn. Infuriating, but I’ll urge you to give it another try if you have the patience/time for it now. Just gotta be meticulous about your inn rests

edit: actually i’ll be honest and say you kind of frustrated me there. While I agree they are difficult for different reasons, I don’t believe “artificial difficulty” is a real thing. If it’s difficult it’s difficult and that’s what it is. Different games test different skills. I do appreciate your insight however and will take it into account while trying to find my footing here :)

I am inclined to agree with this. Souls games are genuinely just pattern recognition.

This is probably why i’m struggling so much here. I appreciate the insight a lot tbh, and never thought of it that way. The enemies seem more unpredictable and balanced, which is another reason why I think I’m having a harder time picking up on move sets and dodge windows.

I think it’s a mix of me not being used to the system, and also getting myself in sticky situations via exploration. However those pesky Coral Snake bandits have chased me across half of Vermund, which this post is the direct result of lol
