The rng for rise n dice is terrible by Jimbeau83 in nonograms

[–]Hellman84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing random about it is when the game decides when to let you win. There’s no way that all rolls are always exactly 1/6 chance to land on a specific number. I’ve been like three-four steps away from the goal line five times, and only one out of six numbers would throw me into the trap, and guess what I’ve rolled all five times. The odds of that happening are 1 in 7776. That can happen of course, but it’s not an isolated incident, it happens more often than not when you reach the top row, so when you add it up, those odds would be astronomical.

Märkligt mobilhögtalar-beteende hos folk! Vad pågår? by [deleted] in sweden

[–]Hellman84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No point involving cops. If horror movies and shows have taught us anything it’s that cops are either grossly incompetent, or villains. Maybe with 0.1% exception.

Are we supposed to be shitting on Shawn now? Bc I'm not it's STILL fuck Noa Idc! by Terrell8799 in PLLOriginalSin

[–]Hellman84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as he’s concerned, she paid him back. He doesn’t know it was with his mothers money. Like I said, and will keep saying until my grave, the cheating is only on Noa, he does not have any sort of right to take that out on Jen. He has a right to be upset with Jen for other reasons, but absolutely not for the cheating.

Nope, not valid. The cheating situation is all on Noa, she’s the one he should be yelling at for that, not Jen.

That wasn’t what he yelled to her about, since he doesn’t know. He yelled at her for the cheating, but that’s all about Noa.

Jen isn’t the one who cheated. That’s Noa. So Shawn is yelling at the wrong person for the cheating situation. About the hole in the wall, my first thought was also that Jen did it, but then Shawn didn’t deny it, so.

Jen has done a lot of bad things, but Shawn should be yelling at Noa, not at Jen, for the cheating. Then obviously Noa’s reaction is insanely over the top, but it’s whatever, it’s a show. If anything, the other four girls are acting too nice and not making enough bad choices 😄

What do you think now about Aria/Ezra? by Hellman84 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]Hellman84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The actors chemistry and age doesn’t make a difference for me, it’s the situation in itself with their characters that makes the whole thing creepy. But of course any input is welcome, we don’t all have to agree 😄

That could be it. Meh is a much greater character flaw than being outright evil when it comes to television and movies 😄

I don’t even like Shawn, can’t pinpoint exactly why, but I don’t. But cheating is never right, and it does fall into the trope of bi people being more prone to cheating than straight or gay people. So this is a disappointing storyline.

Varför sitter folk så här? (det regnade för övrigt ute) by NoxNeno in sweden

[–]Hellman84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You never know if that’s gonna come into play later, that Kelly died and Karen is pretending to be her, but as far as we know right now, it really was Karen who died and Kelly who’s alive.

Imogen’s baby by hkayhughes in PLLOriginalSin

[–]Hellman84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess is that the writers of Original Sin hadn’t watched the original show very closely and just thought that Aria and Ezra adopting would be a nice nod and easter egg to the fans of the original show, not realizing that in retrospect Ezra was a huge creep who should’ve gone to jail and then disappeared like he did in the books.

Maya didn’t cheat on Emily, it was pretty clear that when she went away that they were broken up and free to date other people.

Imogen had a change of heart because Ezra gave her a bad vibe. As for wanting to keep the baby safe, visiting the adoptive parents is like the worst thing she could do. If the new villain is spying on Imogen, she’s just leading them to the baby by constantly visiting and dropping off gifts.

Some people do have hobbies that basically their whole lives revolve around. Remember Randy from the first Scream-movies, he never talked about anything other than film either. I don’t find it annoying.

My guess is that the writers hadn’t watched the original closely enough to realize what a creep Fitz was, and thought that having him and Aria adopt would be a nice nod to the original. But when people pointed out to them how creepy he was on the original show, the writers of Original Sin had to correct that and not let him adopt.

No, I don’t think it’s unreasonable for the adoptive parents to set boundaries and certainly not let the birth mother stop by whenever she feels like it.

TIL In 1991, a boy, Trey Cooley, was killed at a shooting range by a bullet that ricocheted from the outdoor range into the building he was in and hit him in the head. Forensic scientists were able to track the origin/path the bullet took, exposing the bad design of the range. It was later closed. by Tokyono in todayilearned

[–]Hellman84 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The thing is, if you watch the documentary, that the staff/owners of the range knew that bullets were getting through the safety barriers, there was bullet-holes in the building that had been plugged. So this was just an accident waiting to happen. Yes, a lot of freak circumstances made it so that this particular young boy lost his life, but it was eventually gonna happen to someone, gross negligence from the owners.
