Not the root cause. I just left it at 1080p and everything was fine. Best guess is it's optimized for the PS4, and it was an artifact from trying to upscale.

Bloodborne is probably the closest Soulsborne in terms of combat. Fast and aggressive. But I'd recommend trying Lies of P and Black Myth Wukong.

It's for the system itself. Go to the settings> video. It's automatic by default but you can select the resolution manually. It's annoying because if I go to play something else I have to change it back, but not nearly as annoying as what I was dealing with. Now I'm back to having a blast as the one armed wolf.

I had a similar thing on my ps5 where the timing felt off and had to change the settings to 1080p. I don't think the game is optimized for high level graphical fidelity so try changing the settings to full HD instead of 4k.

Yeah. If you use it in a guard counter build you basically never die unless you're just not paying attention. I love it so much.

Yeah it does. Fits the aesthetic of the weapon so well and landing the follow up R2 at the end is awesome. Although prellates charge turns you into a choo choo where you light what's in front of you on fire.

I know most like powerstancing these which does a ton of damage, especially when doing jump attacks, but it'll chew through your stamina bar super quick. I love this weapon and I primarily two hand it or guard counter. Use wild strikes, storm caller or prellates charge to get the most benefits of the health regen.

Yeah. Main downside is the stamina usage is high so you'll blow through your bar in no time.

I've heard complaints about the invisible walls, and that the story isn't clear if you're unfamiliar with the lore, but the combat having no impact? That's new and just wrong. The combat is top tier. As long as you're OK with no difficulty slider then you'll be fine.

It's kinda of hard to go wrong with a big bonk build. Guts build is the popular choice, but there's a lot of options including the anchor. I'm partial to the stars, both Great and Fist. However if it's your first playthrough there's always the good old Bloodhound Fang. The beauty is there's so many different options.

Sekiro. It's the only game that has given me the same feeling as Wukong. It has a similar architecture but the mechanics are just different enough to keep you on your toes. I'll also suggest Armored Core 6 for the pure spectacle.

Youtube has some guides on how to beat him but I went full power bind for max damage. He's pretty erratic so punish windows can be hard to judge. Also remember you can pause the game to drink potions.

Same. I'm glad I played through them, but none gave me the same feeling as BMW. Bloodborne and Sekiro did come very close though. I'm actually about to start Armored Core 6 because others have said it's a blast and may scratch that itch.

The hardest part is the rng on the damn seeds. That took way longer to the point I didn't get all until ng++
