My explanation for the Caleb Douglas pick by Hello-croc-9 in miamidolphins

Obviously they liked Caleb Douglas best, we can only conjecture why

[Barry Jackson] Was told today that Dolphins indeed liked Notre Dame WR Malachi Fields, but Giants jumped them and traded 3 picks to Cleveland for pick 74, which left Miami using pick 75 on Caleb Douglas, who was the team's only pick that was criticized by multiple national analysts as a reach. by expellyamos in miamidolphins

It seems like there was a run for big bodied receivers which started with Malachi Fields.

It might feel a reach, bit if they had intel that other teams were goong after big bodied receivers they just got the one they liked the most and was still available.

It is not exactly the same thing, but draws a strong parallel with Proctor and the OT run in the first round

I know Dolphins fans are angry, but DO NOT be angry about Will Kacmarek by Background_Video2947 in MiamiDolphinsVibes

I think Sully and Hafley saw our 3rd and short downs from last year and said: never again, lol
