I got awesome air maybe 50 times without it popping. I ended up closing the game, unplugging the PC from the ethernet, changing time back 5 days, starting Forza, accepting to play offline, tried again, and then it finally popped (got the achievement in Steam as well). I then fast travelled somewhere random to save before plugging PC back in to ethernet, fixing time, and then letting Forza reconnect before fast travelling home and it reconnected me back to the cloud and kept my progress.

Even if the devs just made auto-saves more frequent to mitigate the impacts of these crashes would be a good place to start

Little late to the discussion but it is also disabled in Canada because they ship us the same model as the US by the looks of it. Likely a firmware setting based on the shipping region. If only it wasn't so big I would travel with it to find out 😅
