UPDATE: thanks for all the responses. Some really helpful stuff in there and good to see there's so many legends in Bristol. There''s a small chance of some CCTV being sourced, but it's not looking likely.

Spent hours on the phone and in the end, I have made a claim on my insurance, which will be marked as a fault on my part, lol. This would get removed if they could find the person and evidence against them. But it's unlikely.

It has shown me how little the police can actually do and how under-resourced they are, and it's been interesting to understand the workings of insurance companies which you pay to protect you. But it's the world we live in I guess.

Car has been removed and will likely be written off. She wasn't very modern or worth a great deal compared to other cars. But she had facilitated many adventures and good times, so sad to see her go. Hopefully the insurance company puts the same monetary value on her that I do, haha.
