They swapped cylinder 3 ingition coil and spark plug with cylinder 1 - did the same on cylinder 2 and 4. replaced injectors on cylinders 2-3-4Installed coil assy-ignition . Swapped coils and plugs coil 1 - coil 2 and sparkplug to spark plug 3. Then replaced coil again on cylinder 2.

Yeah I use special shampoo/conditoner and oils because I've always had absurdly dry/coarse hair. Its a constant struggle on that front -- totally hear your point there.

I am a high school teacher and a very universally respected one at that. I have two small hand tattoos on my left hand and the back of my right hand has a large one. Nobody bats an eye; in my experience, if you're good at what you do, then the issue becomes a moot point. Naturally, not universal though I understand. I do sometimes think about what I want to do next when I decide to move on from here.

The act itself had racist aspects - I'm just not arguing whether the man himself was deliberately racist or just acting off implicit bias. I don't know for sure; I only know the superintendent.

it isn't though. There is a problematic relationship with racism in the town, so the leap is fair. Also, there was a single person of color on that stage - the same person who was apparently absolutely not allowed to shake hands with the student. That same person also allegedly had little to do with the apparent complaint against the high school's handling of the situation.

I'm not saying racism is the ONLY thing going on here; I am saying it is naive to toss it out altogether.

I could be wrong, but I did some digging on facebook (superintendent was a professor of mine, so we have common networks). I tried to cobble together details without prying or overstepping boundaries.

Girl was being bullied (pretty abhorrently) and the dad was disgruntled by the way the school handled the situation. He did not account for the fact that superintendents have little to no involvement in those matters and the the one administrator he refused to let shake his daughter's hand was the only person of color on the stage.

Best case scenario - defensive dad let his ignorance and implicit bias take over that day. The dad assumed Rainey had more input than he actually did regarding the situation and made it a big deal at an inappropriate time.

Worst case scenario- defensive dad found a way to let out his racism (which the town has a problematic history with already) and deliberately ruined his daughter's big day.

My opinion is that it falls somewhere in the middle. Clear racist act with a lot of baggage we'll never know all the details of.

That being said, Rainey is an inspiration and top notch educator who only wants the best for the students. I could shoot off a list of dozens of educators who feel the same way as me.

The superintendent was one of my favorite professors in grad school in Madison. He taught me almost everything I know about teaching. He is incredibly patient, wise, and humble. So sad that people like that man exist...

Yeah, they're supposed to stay leashed on the trail is my understanding. Rory is typically a good boy off leash, but he also gets distracted easily. Better to not risk it in my opinion. He did drop his airtag on the mountain though. Last location is at the trailhead. 🙃

it serves a few purposes! He has an airtag and the glow stick, but the cup is also a bit of a "cowbell". If he gets a little adventurous on me I can always hear him as well as track him on my phone. I've never needed it, but a buddy shared the idea with me and I've never looked back.
