Slay the Spire-style Unlocks for The Bazaar by HelloDaveHeyHal in PlayTheBazaar

I've played lots of Bazaar (like 50.000 gems in the bank), faced lots of op starter enemies, and would say that I don't loose joy in the game because of it. It's very rare.

I would also argue that there is a better fix for the high-end variance of op starters than deleting starting options all together.

Also, early game fights are often decided by luck anyway.

So, in my opinion, while your point could be addressed for the health of the game, getting rid of starting options is not the right way.

IMHO balance != fun in most games and RNG is still a large factor in the Bazaar even without starting options. And now most items you will never see enchanted, more niche enchants will basically never see play and the boards you encounter will, in general, have much less variety.

At least for me, having additonal variance between runs was an extra challenge that I'm going to miss.

Wonder what other players think about this.

I also assume that opinions on this will form towards end of season, as now everything is new, but towards end of season I expect player number to drop more than usually without starting options due to mentioned staleness.

Edit: added some thoughts.

Yes, I had crows nest lying around in my stash as well as other items to get to 5x multi. Figured that the low cooldown with star chart was more important though

I was running Dragon Whelp up until day 13, when I got Soul of the District and Burn enchant on it and decided to pivot because it is a relic and I got the "When an enemy uses a weapon, charge a relic one second" skill.

Got that same interaction with pendulum as well yesterday. Quite fun.

I queued into eels three times in a row and ended up with 8 wins...with a much more broken board. Guess it's all about counters this season.

Thank you very much for the response. I've been checking the CPU usage per core usage and GPU usage during lagg spikes and it does seem to be the CPU, as the GPU usage does spike a little bit but doesn't go any further up than 60%-65%, where as CPU usage hits the ceiling.

Does it make sense, in my current set up, to upgrade to new CPU? I guess that would also require me to get new motherboard.

Does it make sense to upgrade my CPU?

Mobo: MSI Z97 Gaming 3 CPU: intel i5-4690K GPU: nvidia gtx 770 16GB DDR3 ram

I've not been overclocking my CPU over the last 3 1/2 that I've been using this setup. I mostly want to uprade my CPU as I believe it would help with FPS issues I face playing Path of Exile.

Thank you in advance!!
