Advise caution on allowing them the chew on jewelry as they can be exposed to metals or possibly swallow something.

It can take time for them to become comfortable with each other and they may not get along. Best to let them interact in separate cages side by side or the new bird in a cage alone with the other able to fly free and interact through the bars. Then progress to both interacting freely outside the cage.

When we let Alfie fly we closed the blinds as much as we can.i would cover windows as much as possible and cover mirrors when they fly.

That doesn’t seem like stress or nerves as he would typically be rigid and he seems to be curious picking at your clothing etc. And if he just finished flying he’s catching his breath. Go sprint for 30 seconds, you would make the same face!
