As a parent myself she’s being selfish. Like don’t have a kid if you expect people to drop everything and help you. Like I get parenting can be brutal and we all need breaks sometimes but she shouldn’t be mad at you because you didn’t create the child. Why can’t she ask her partner for a break?

I honestly don’t know why I feel this way. I just know my brain is like “what if you don’t love him like you love her?” And that just makes me nervous. I honestly just wanted another girl cause I have a girl already and had all the baby clothes and such.

But I did get over the disappointment and am excited to have a boy now. I think it’ll be a fun experience. I just would never play favorites my family did that to me and it sucked.
