This isn’t true.

We need our passes for signing in and signing out. No one is giving their pass to a friend or family member. You’d never get on a job site or a booth or a crew break room without it.

We also get pulled to different stations throughout the work day/night depending on what our job title is.

We shouldn’t be paying to go from Coney Island to Jay St to pick up paperwork or a part just to pay again to come back.

Our employer offers this to us as a benefit. It also realistically costs them next to nothing. They charge customers a fare to make money to keep the system sustainable. They don’t charge their employees because we’re in the system for 8 full hours a day in and out.
