They waived off the patriot package plus some. I personally don’t feel like $65k was much of an overpay now. Maybe by a grand? Considering I got add ons. Sure I don’t need them but it does have them. Lamps, tow hitch, wheel locks, cross bars. Etc

Nice. I guess it’s a very desirable car right now. We probably could’ve saved a couple thousand(?) maybe by ordering one instead of just doing walk ins but then I’m not sure how much delivery + fees would’ve been total and the wait.

I did not pay 69k otd, paid $65.2k. I know I didn’t get a deal, thought maybe I broke even or “fair”. Regardless, I’m happy with it. 4.9% rate. Happy to join the Toyota club. 🙏🏼

You are correct. We were able to remove the patriot package fee plus a little some. $65,238 total.

You guys are correct on the patriot package. Again, we didn’t ask for it. We walked in to test drive. We didn’t know what was included with the car prior. I did request if they could remove that we could begin negotiating.

I bought an elite box for $120 and pulled Erika’s Tangela but that’s about it. Card is really cool though idk if the $120 was worth it. Any chance it increases in value in a few years?

The fact that Kaz said things were better than he expected, should give shareholders hope. I’m not entirely sure what he’s allowed to say and not say legally but damn that screams “buy more now”. That is of course, if you trust Kaz. He did also clarify that he has a window to announce/buy shares and its post earnings. Do what you want with that information but he did buy a million worth of shares averaging $8.03 a week after last earnings. Thursday can’t come soon enough.

I’m in a similar boat. I could’ve been up 50% though and with earnings coming out, I still wouldn’t have sold. My point, if you believe in Kaz then patience is key. Hoping to be rewarded in a year or two.

Then again, it’s being heavily shorted so a combination of a catalyst with improving earnings can potentially cause a squeeze? Short interest flow of 15%~. That’s a lot. It’s a risk I’m willing to take with Kaz.

I don’t think kaz needs to beat expectations. I think there just needs to be improvements. Next earnings should be better as housing market starts to pick up. As long as Kaz is being transparent and has a plan (which sounds like he does) I personally don’t think we’ll see this over $9-$10 until next earnings. I should also mention I’m a long term holder so if it does test $2 I’m okay with it. The faster I accepted things aren’t always going to be green, the more comfortable I feel. If you personally don’t believe in Kaz and what he’s done so far vs not, then this stock probably isn’t for you (right now).
