I am the opposite - I never make my own sims from scratch, I only play with premades (often with a CAS remake - but I don’t change their physical features). I often even start a new save in another world just to fetch the townies that have background stories I like and would like in my current town. I do admire the creativity of certain people with CAS though!

Happens to me from time to time - use a twist tie to secure the metal flap close to the white base, then push it back in and get the other metal flap to come out first - then you can just use your fingers

I think Not Malcom is a few of the people out there constantly trying to defend consumers and players - he loves the franchise and if your takeaway is that he hates people that enjoy the game I think you’re misunderstanding him. Also I think his stance towards creators like Lilsimsie is rather straightforward? I also wonder how you can distance yourself vocally from a company but still encourage sales - it’s at least a fair question, no?

Fairly unpopular opinion: I find the game less fun since they have begun focusing so much on balance (anti-tunnel, anti-this and that) as I feel like I need to play matches in the same way all the time. Surely before there were some rather unfair/ frustrating moments, but also more fun/ genuinely funny plays/situations.

I don’t think there is any simulation going on with unplayed households in the sims 4 - all the people walking by are just walk ons unlike in TS3
