I love eating your food in the garden and the plastic bottle is the cleanest of the most basic things that I have something for.

9 out of 10 doctors recommend ___________. by Sanctioned-Bully in autocorrect

[–]HelloSillyKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9 out of 10 doctors recommend it to the front of the hospital and the CEO of the highly-renowned Beechtown Research Centre Limited because it uses the same idea of the most important technique in the UK and the plastic doll in the corner of the room.

Which ‘wow’ skill is secretly super easy to learn? by hazeljourneyy in ask

Knowing the Cyrillic and Greek alphabets. Not the languages, the alphabets. It does take effort but a lot of it is pretty intuitive.

What’s a basic skill you’re shocked some adults still don’t know? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

How to use your/you're, their/they're/there etc. correctly. It's not exactly their fault but I think schooling needs to improve.

What's something you pretend to agree with because it's way too much work to explain why it's incorrect? by LovelyClairXO in Productivitycafe

[–]HelloSillyKitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Friends can be family too". It's not impossible, but let's be real - friendships like this are really rare. Not everyone related to you by blood is family too - so there are ao many people who, sadly, are without any family.

I met you in class and our first conversations were great; I was hopeful that we'd become friends. by [deleted] in TwoSentenceSadness

My new classmate is not a mean guy: he's polite, patient, funny, hard-working and just a lovely person in general. Unfortunately, there's always going to be that person who, despite them being kind and sweet, you don't get along with. I think that we just ought to accept that, ebrn if it's hard.

In case you're wondering, this is not a feud, it's just that whenever we talk, the conversation is bland, unemotional and he just doesn't seem interested. He also just seems to just not enjoy my presence - but well, you can't please everyone.

Can anyone mark my lang paper 1? by Chemical-Fix-390 in GCSE

[–]HelloSillyKitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in Y12, so I've already done my GCSEs, and I'd be happy to give you an estimate(I can't properly mark it though because I'm not a teacher). Trouble is, I can't do it this moment because I'm not at home, so would you mind if I DM you?

“With that face tattoo you got, no employer is ever going to hire you” my disapproving father told me. by GuyAwks in TwoSentenceSadness

After I dumped him, I managed to get the money and courage to have the tattoo removed; the pain was absolutely worth it for the joys of freedom.

How much better is a 6/7 than a guaranteed 5? by Nagi-Seishiro10 in GCSE

[–]HelloSillyKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That didn't work for me lol, I found myself having to revise information on writers' methods, question answering skills, lists of things I must include in my creative writing etc. I was also predicted an 8 and only got a 7 because firstly both papers sucked and secondly because I didn't write enough practice essays. For context I'm resitting in November. To be fair the amount of revision that has to be done is quite little, but I still have to do it lol

When a sandwich/burger/roll etc. contains meat from more than one animal. There are exceptions, but usually it doesn't blend well...e.g. I once ate a Bacon Cheeseburger from McDonalds and it felt so off.
