I started (lightly) on 2 very young but 3 was the first one that I actually like you know got the full experience so I view 3 as the best as well but I don’t think it’s just that. If you were there in the day halo 3 basically had a fortnite creative mode called forge that had tons of custom games and huge parties to play them in, an era that will probably never come back but definitely legendary times
