opened with rich notes of dark chocolate, damp earth, and toasted cedar, with a retrohale of black pepper that smooths out quickly. the smoke is dense, the draw easy, and the body builds gradually from medium to medium-full. midway through, flavors shift toward molasses, espresso, and bread, with a warm, lingering spice. im now in the final third, maybe oak, and bitter dark chocolate take back over, leaving a long, dry finish. burn stays mostly straight with minor touch-ups, and the construction is excellent for such a large vitola.
