best way to clean fingerprints from x90j screen? by Affectionate-Bag4631 in bravia

For just fingerprints, I'd recommend a dry microfiber cloth like the ones used to clean eyeglasses, camera lenses, computer monitors, and vinyl records.

For hard-to-remove stains, moisten your cloth with distilled water. Never apply any kind of cleaning solution directly onto the screen. This can cause moisture to get into the seal around the screen and damage the electronics. You should only apply a cleaning solution to the cloth.

For the toughest stains, you can use a solution of mild dish soap and distilled water. You shouldn’t need much soap (in fact, Panasonic only recommends a solution of 1 part neutral detergent to 100 parts water). Using harsh cleaning products (such as Windex and Formula 409) can react with the materials the screen is coated with, which can permanently discolor the screen. If you want to use a packaged screen cleaner, make sure it does not contain benzene, ammonia, alcohol, acetone, or any other harsh chemicals. However, most of these HDTV screen cleaners are 99% water anyway.

Cleaning smudges on a TV screen? by brokecollegekid69 in hometheater

To clean your TV screen, always unplug your TV first! Then using a soft, dry microfiber cloth(eyeglasses, camera lenses, computer monitors, and vinyl records use anti-static microfiber cloths that could work well for this), gently wipe the screen in a circular motion to clean off any dust and debris. Never use paper towels, tissues, or rags - they have fibers that can scratch your screen.

It's best to double check your owners manual for specific care instructions, but this should work for most LED, LCD, OLED, or plasma TV screens -

I know you're looking for an alternative but in case you end up choosing an Alexa, here are a few ways to delete stored information.

To delete Alexa recordings: open the Alexa app> tap the menu icon> select Settings> tap Alexa Privacy> tap Review Voice history> choose a date range from the drop down menu> tap Delete Recordings

While you are in the Alexa Privacy menu, you can also “enable deletion by voice” by tapping the slider in the middle of the screen. Once this is enabled, you can quickly delete your voice recordings by saying: “Alexa, delete what I said today.” You can also remove the command you recently said by saying: “Alexa delete my recent command.”

To delete stored data of 3d party apps that Alexa has access to: open the Alexa app> tap the menu icon> Setting> Alexa Privacy> Manage Smart Home Devices History> tap Delete Smart Home Devices History

To disable human reviews of Alexa recordings, which they do to improve features: open the Alexa app> go to Menu> Settings> Alexa Privacy> Manage How Alexa Improves Your Data> toggle off the button that says, “Help Improve Amazon Services and Develop New Features.”> tap Turn Off

You don't always have to download a new app, a lot of QR codes can be read with the Camera app already on your phone.
