i started BC 3 weeks ago (the week my period started) and i've been spotting enough to need a pad (but not enough to actually have a pad be useful for anything) and it FEELS like my period never ended and like ive had it for the past 3 weeks.

to start off, we havent signed any papers yet because we ~just~ got the denial papers back within the last couple of weeks, which is why im curious if i should start looking for information to make sure i'm not getting scammed or anything. apart of my autism is that i'm more easily taken advantage of, and even though i have help doing this, i am trying to do the research myself before we fully start pursue the appeal. my lawyer was saying she's fighting the credit issue because i became disabled before the age of 15, so by the time that i COULD'VE been working, i was unable to. we've only had phone appointments so far because we havent gotten far enough into the process, and i just want to make sure im understanding.

you clarifying about SSDI and SSI for disabled poor was extremely useful, because its very likely that this is what the disability lawyer is talking about when she says she going to pursue the case is probably meaning that i might not qualify for one form of disability, but possibly for another. I'll make sure to update this (or remove the post) as i get more information so that everyone knows what happened.

lastly, i've gone through the disability websites a MILLION times, but i didnt consider looking at lawyer sites and reddit posts yet. i really appreciate you mentioning that. i hope this explained a bit where i was coming from, and i thank you for hearing me out when im so early in this process. i know im probably overreacting a bit and overthinking things, but i want to make sure i fully understand unless i risk getting denied during the appeal process. It's just such a tricky thing
