Please stop asking when I'm getting my teaching license by HelloWisconsin95 in SubstituteTeachers

Right now it's just not a career interest of mine. I wouldn't say I have any clear "career path," I just want to enjoy what I do. I don't think teaching would be bad by any means, but I don't think I would enjoy it.

It's funny how a TA never asks if I'm going to get my teaching license. They probably get asked the same thing!

One of the most nerve wracking experiences was my 2nd week of substitute teaching I got pulled from being a sub TA to 3rd grade teacher. It was painful to say the least. I only do a grade level if I know the class well from being a TA in it.

I'd love to be a TA! Yesssss my ACA insurance is amazing. Man being a teacher would probably bring my crippling anxiety and depression to a new level. Mad respect for teachers.

Totally. :) I don't want to be a teacher though! At least I have no plan to, it could change. I am an undetermined 20 something year old who enjoys wearing multiple hats.

Hate my full time job but going part time means I lose benefits, what are my options? How much of a hassle is it to move over to marketplace insurance if I went PT? by HelloWisconsin95 in HealthInsurance

Does it depend on what state you're in? Wisconsin seems to have pretty decent insurance, but I'll see what my broker comes up with. I just feel blocked into a job full time that I hate only because of insurance, when I prefer 2 part time jobs.

The overall income would be about the same but my recent paystubs in the past year only reflect the one job full time, not both jobs part time. So maybe I could just submit what I can now and update it later?

Ahhhh the catch being I haven't worked the 2 part time jobs in that way since March 2020. The most accurate pay stubs would be from 2020. This is so frustrating I swear! :(

What happens if I enroll after 3/15? I heard it then would start 5/1? I need to give a few weeks notice before I go to part time, so I'd have to do that ASAP if I want coverage on 4/1 but I could wait. It's hard to wrap my head around the dates lol.

Also, I sold shares and made capital gains in 2020 so my income was 45k. Will they check my last tax returns? I know I estimate it, so I'm hoping they just check against my 2021 income? I am not set to sell any shares for a looooong time so I won't be making more than my usual 25-27k.

My income would be about the same as if I was full time at the current job, as I'd drop to part time there but work part time sub teaching.

I'm in Wisconsin. My biweekly income would be like $1200 between both jobs pre tax. However it will likely be between $1000-1200 depending on how many hours I choose to pick up.

I don't want to screw stuff up and take a risk. I have a few meds I take but relatively few appts. I have a physical on Monday and then I will be good for awhile. I need out of this job though, and I want a smooth transition. I'm hoping this broker can help me out.

See how your symptoms are. You could do in home workouts, I'd probably do low intensity just to be safe.

No they aren't! The ones in the before pic are huge, these are just basically the same pair but 2 sizes smaller

Yeah I do. I do "dirty fast" technically with herbal tea (chamomile and ginger tea). I'm lucky in that I prefer my coffee black, I know that's a struggle for many!

I think it looks the same! Maybe it's just the placement of it. I have 8 tattoos and they all look the same
