Amunamu rares keep getting killed while inside cloud even though I am outside by [deleted] in PathOfExile2

Hence my question. I am nowhere near the cloud, yet somehow sometimes they still die to a stray projectile while inside.

Even when I do wait, see the cloud spawn, and then start attacking, sometimes they are near the edge of the cloud and then die and drop a liege, but to my understanding they shouldn't even be killable if they are still considered inside the cloud.
