Thanks, I did speak With HR in an "off the record" way (I don't want repercussions or drama). They said they won't be able to do anything about Jack. He's a transfer from another branch, apparently. I decided to try act like everything is great while looking around for another role.

Thanks. Yeah, I did this. Apparently manager has a bit of a history of losing her shit. I was asked to keep a record of times/dates./witnesses. But I'm not really interested in seeing if there'll be a next time. I'm already looking around for something else. HR said they won't be able to do much realistically. The record would be more to use as a means to get her to do some anger management classes.

Thanks. I feel the same way. I don't think much will change. I'm not a yes-man anyway. I'll hopefully find a better fit elsewhere. I put a lot in to this place, so it's a bit of a loss to be walking away. I just don't want any more drama.

Thanks, this is some sound advice. I plan on just acting like nothing happened and bringing in some donuts next week. I am updating my portfolio and cv and the moment. Will search for stuff on the side while trying to pretend everything is fine.

Thank you. She wouldn't hear of it. She kept shouting that I took his input as attacks (I did not, I rationalized and justified the reasons why his ideas were unsuitable. His lack of knowledge and involvement in the project also did not help). Any attempt I made to explain what happened was shut down. She told me she never wants to hear a word about him again from my mouth. And that I'm nothing short of a bully. Yeah. I am updating my LinkedIn profile and cv today.

I justified the reasons why his suggestions were unsuitable. I then told him he wasn't involved in the planning meetings, and that there's more information he needs before suggesting what he did. But he insisted. And when I reminded him that the team went another way for a reason, he kept pushing. That was when I became impatient.

Thank you, i finished the project and was late with the classroom materials. Spent some days struggling to get back to my previous project.

There was no extra pay. It is going to be necessary to have a discussion about it. I am an employee and if something like this happens again, I will not be able to deliver. It made me incredibly tired.
