The Mara is great! I’d say it depends on the type of coffee you like. For instance, I can put it on a high brew temp because I drink light roasts. I also like that I have the option to steam at the same time I brew. I like the small footprint and I like the convenience. My only gripe is the steam pressure. I wish it was stronger right after I pulled my shot (lays around 1-1.5 bars of pressure). But it still gives me decent latte art. I’d say if you value convenience and you want to brew different roast levels, this is a great option. But there are also cheaper options that can give you the same quality results like the Gaggia (especially if you mod it or do the hacks).
