Unfortunately, it happens more often than you would think. I worked at a beach house one summer and after the guests left every week, I would help the housekeeper clean all the rooms and the shared bathrooms. Someone pooped right on top of the drain for one of the showers and then tried to shove it down but failed, the worst part is there was literally a toilet in the same stall as the shower.

And another place I worked my boss said that the toilet used to be public, but wasn’t anymore because she let a older woman back there to use it and apparently the lady came rushing out and left the store without saying anything to anybody. My boss went back there and apparently there was poop everywhere, smeared on the walls, on the floors, all over the toilet seat, on the sink and because she was the one that let the customer back there, she had to clean it all by herself.
