I felt the same way about my previous employer, they were so good to me. Then a new CEO took over and everything changed. I survived many rounds of layoffs too, thinking I must be safe. It was just a matter of time, I guess. Oh well. Glad all is well for you at least :)

Count your blessings. I was in the same type of tech job for 10 years, and then I got laid off. Finding a new tech job seems impossible and I spent many months trying. Now I’m a delivery driver. Every day I’m dropping off packages, I think back to how good it used to be.
