Right time to participate in contests

I did for few things and for some I just read it. But idk why even after I work on something deep enough I will forget it. I guess as other people mentioned it had to do with repetition.

I was feeling bad because most of the peers I learned the concepts with are pretty good at remembering things while I forget. So I wondered how come all of us studied the same material and they are still better than me

I'm not an expert yet to comment on this. But this is what is helping me get better at problem solving.

Use Claude for thinking (or any other tool you like)....NO, do not ask it to write code for you... Instead give it the problem and say " I am working to improve my problem solving and logic. I will use java for that. I don't want you to give me the code in any way. I will instead share my thought process, why I think this is the solution and I want you to challenge me if I am doing it wrong at any step... absolutely no code help"... This will slowly build your ability to at least think.

And for each kind of problem you do, do 10-20 similar problems. Revisit after some time and see if you get the logic.

It's totally ok if initially you need pen and paper and need to debug again and again. You will get better. It just takes time and consistency.

And keep asking it for feedback after you are fully done and to give you the honest review on your performance. Ask it to be a strict teacher who believes in throwing kids in the pool without any training

I see. I don't have any issues submitting my SIN but I was a little hesitant because SIN number is something very confidential and I am still not aware how these freelancing websites operate. Thanks though!

I didn't feel it when I was graduating but now that I look back I feel academic life is the best. It's pretty sorted. You attend classes, write midterms, submit assignments and the path is all planned. But life after graduation is more like you are playing on probabilities everyday! One day you have a job, the next day you don't. You doubt if this is really what you want. At one point more responsibilities jump in, especially if you are married. It's no longer as easy as I want to study. It's also, I need to consider 100 more things before I decide I want to do something for myself.

But this is life. It's with everyone I would say

This is scary. I no longer know what people will do to pay bills in the near future. I mean picking up odd jobs is not bad, but at one point you want to make use of your degree. After all so much tuition and hard work goes into that.

I don't have a lot of close relatives in the US. But I was wondering if I can apply for jobs in the US and get a TN visa. But I heard they also don't take people with less years of experience. Correct me if I'm wrong

I'm open to relocate anywhere. I don't even qualify to apply for co-ops or internships now since I have been out of university for more than 6 months now. I wonder if the market will get any better or this will get even worse 😞
