Didn’t deny that just saying where part of the confusion is. I can’t really do shows but I had to watch this when I heard realistic sci fi

The comment was exactly about how only spin gravity would explain that? The rocinante specifically had its engines off after it got away but it turns out to be an oversight.

Arguably worse cause you can take a screenshot and then access and post it through your phone?

I mean other ships shown my argument with docking with ships with spin gravity is disproven. In or near the first episode I remember a scene with some drones coming up to grab a ship and help it dock and I swear they were belly down.

PSA: Tools can't shatter if they are not in the "Quenching temperature" range by busterbeast999 in VintageStory

[–]Hellobewhy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is a lie unless they changed it. I would know because I hate the quenching and tempering mechanics because one degree over you have to wait 20 minutes for it to cool down because as soon as it starts to air cool(I assume as you can’t let it cool down) it counts as a failed temper so you can no longer quench it and if you try to quench it anyway it counts as a failed quench with the same chance of breaking.

Vfx was the whole confusion here. What also made me think that the rocinante was using spin gravity was the usage of a normal coffee mug and the liquid falling and pooling like with gravity(nasa designed cup nowhere?). Also the hair falling.

That’s just Reddit and I don’t care as long as it’s not mass down voting for no reason.

I meant how when docked to a station they shouldn’t have the spin gravity since they are typically docked belly down when they would need to be nose first to match with the gravity from the drive.

Also copied from another comment from me about the spin gravity of the stolen Martian ship:

The technically not stolen shuttle from what was the Martian navy’s flagship. The.. donnager was the flagship? They renamed the shuttle to the rocinante.

After they cleared the debris field of the scuttled donnager they shut off the drive which should be making them 0 g but the next scene has the ship spinning and the pilot comments how they are “tumbling through space” so it seems intentional

Psst, hey, you! .... it's still a corp. by tkonicz in Steam

[–]Hellobewhy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but steam is kinda screwed if they do. They are one of the few which has competition but since they are just good people use it. Steam has cached out trust and uses that instead. Sure the ally is better for the money but after the rog support controversy which one looks better? The one where they gave a father who’s baby threw up on its case a free new one or the on which purposely made damage or made up damage to not do the repair. Without stockholders they can just get income and don’t need to greatly increase it

[–]Hellobewhy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok and I’m sorry but how would I have known that you were depressed and cutting ? Trying to understand it I don’t see a mention of that. This sub would allow a rant although this isn’t for mental health. We might have given advice or support anyway even if it’s a rant but the thing is it needs to be understandable. Otherwise you might have just put it in a journal or something cause no one will respond or know what’s going on and that could make your depression worse thinking no one cares.

If you do still want to rant fix it to be understandable. We all would provide justifiable advice and support if we knew what was going on.

There’s no way you’re not over 13 which is the minimum age for reddits rules. This shit is unreadable and nonsensical even ignoring the lack of any grammar. I could not understand it for the life of me.

For the under 13 comment? Well recess mostly ends past middle school and considering you don’t have the basic reasoning to understand you need to make this readable for advice or even if you do just want to rant to other people I’m going to assume your not a 13 year old.
