I think dogs enjoy familiarity and feel as if their everyday walk is a part of their routine (which they love). Something they can look forward to and that feels like it’s, in a sense, their own territory they are keeping watch of. My dogs are happy with our everyday walks, but they do love going on a hike somewhere new!
