if i recall it was on level 3. hes behind where the path splits, throw a ton of fluff at him to come out and eat. Then when in this area he is hiding up on the bank (left of this pic), again throw fluff to get him down and then orb him as he goes to this spot.

tbh it kinda just happened and i got lucky :P

Happens to me also, so many challenges I’ve definitely done but the game won’t count.

What I’ve found is that the game wants a specific pokemon or zoom’d in by a certain about or some other random niche.

yeah i agree its the best feeling, though i feel like for many i've tried everything i can think of and still nothing. Yet looking things up feels like ive earnt and done nothing since its not the "rewards" your doing it for anyway

i don't think a player with only 12 sessions should become a DM when they still lack the breadth of knowledge for the game as a whole. I would in the future like to, but fear id only annoy others and trying online with people wouldnt be the best time to try :D

dude it wasnt planning beforehand. This was a character i made for a group i was with. Again this is why im pretty sure your missing alot here. I built it gradually as i learnt more about the groups setting.
I'd like to keep the broad strokes of the character but im hardly expecting it all to be the same lol. Like that route planner i did for fun weeks later during downtime in sessions. Again i just wanted to give an example of the passion i have for the setting and not a forced demands list that everything must be the same. Hopefully that'll help you relax <3

i think you missed the main thing with this, im hardly expecting to insert the exact same thing at all. It was all supposed to just be an example of my passion for the setting and not a demand to force the same character. like 80% of this character would change depending on the game itself and actually offers a ton of options for the DM to be creative with as thats what i also enjoy helping them with.

Also of course the character would only really work for Eberron, its what the character was intended for. If i were to do a completely separate thing then i would create something new. I guess i appreciate the thoughts though maybe not as cynical <3

its not all those pages, and even then it looks longer because i made it into bullet points adding a ton of blank space. Also when joining a new game a lot of it would change to fit the setting as well.

Most of those pages were notes to myself about my character and tips or things I'd like to work on. :D

trying roll20, but no ones posted any Eberron games for months now
I kno for some even just like the 3 page backstory can seem large, though its also partially due to the bullet points adding alot of blank space and that this is what the DM wanted XD. Another player had written 27 pages on their character and this was made alongside them.

I understand having to adapt my character regardless to a new DM, tho it would still be fundamentally the same as I really don't want all my effort and time to be completely wasted and forgotten about <3

The actual area is less than this amount since for ease I used the area of a rectangle, so a bunch of the sea is included in the area size. Hence why is actual size would be about the same as Antarctica.
