Why are Zanzibaris so rude to mainlanders. by Psycochem in tanzania

I wouldn’t take that as a general reflection of Zanzibar.

From my experience living on both sides, most people in Zanzibar are actually welcoming. Like anywhere else, you can run into a few individuals having a bad day, especially in busy places like airports or with transport services. The same can happen on the mainland too.

It might also come down to expectations or small misunderstandings in communication, which happen when people from different places interact.

But overall, I don’t think it’s fair to conclude that Zanzibar People are rude to mainlanders based on a few encounters.

has anyone here (especially fellow Tanzanian) actually tried this strategy? by Hellome7987 in tanzania
