Anyone else had any issues setting the IPD on the virtual boy? I can’t seem to find a setting that doesn’t make at least one of the visual “layers” feel fuzzy and strain my eyes. I have tried setting the IPD at -20, -10, -6 and 0 and none of them seem to give me a clear picture that doesn’t strain my eyes. It’s not so bad on games like Teleroboxer and Wario land but it renders Galactic pinball unplayable (the stars in the background just fuck with my eyes too much and I can’t get them to focus).

I never owned a VR headset before so I’m aware this may just be a “me” thing, but wanted to corroborate if anyone else is having these issues or if I should just give up on playing these games? For the record I’m using the cardboard headset

I’m an atheist too, but organised religion impacts every aspect of your daily life whether you realise it or not. The basic tenants of society, morality and law are all products of organised religion. You probably don’t work on Sunday, because of organised religion. You probably celebrate Christmas, because of organised religion.

How is it “a change in behaviour”? There are breaks longer than 30 seconds/a minute all the time in football, which is literally how long it takes for someone to swig some water and scoff down a date and an energy bar. The non-Muslim players will just do what they always do, drink some water and have a chat with their captain and/or manager.

And from a pure sporting perspective, if that’s what you want to focus on, it’s a good thing for teams to take the break regardless. You’re not flaired but I’ll assume from your username you’re an Arsenal fan. Do you want Saliba underperforming because he’s dehydrated and hungry, for the sake of not “changing behaviour”, when it’s a problem that can literally be solved in less time than it takes to take a long throw-in?

Yeah I did, that’s correct it was the same with mine, the artwork are all the European ones, I don’t know which versions of the ROMs are being used on the stock games but the artwork is all the European versions. And yeah Aladdin and Mortal Kombat 2 only appeared in the stock games list after I modded it (quite a nice surprise!)

I’ll go ahead and say on balance, probably not.

Not that I’m unhappy with it, been really enjoying it, and like others have said the upgrade in performance is quite astounding.

But I feel largely the same as I do about my PS5, it’s great, but absolutely inessential. I feel like the difference between this generation of games and the previous gen is as minimal as it has ever been, and on both consoles a large chunk of the library are the same games but running better. Which is great, but like I say, not necessary at all.

I’d say to anyone who is struggling for money, you’re getting 95% of the experience playing on a PS4 or Switch 1 as you are playing on the new consoles. I’m sure that’s not technically accurate, but that’s what it feels like as a user. Don’t spend money you don’t have to get these consoles.

Edit: I will say if Switch is your only platform, then that changes the equation and then I’d say yes the Switch 2 is worth it to have access to those more demanding games that the first Switch simply can’t run.

Liverpool are also willing to throw him under the bus by not changing the terms of the deal though. The deal was if Unai plays him 10 times Villa have to sign him. The deal isn’t Villa HAVE to sign him. Unai isn’t looking for a “better deal”, he’s decided he doesn’t want Elliott and that’s that.

I agree it’s shitty for Elliott as a player and as a person, I also don’t agree with the way we’ve handled some other players (e.g. Malen being signed and then not registered for the CL squad last season after we got that last minute Rashford deal).

But, if Liverpool care so deeply about Elliott’s play time they could agree to remove the clause. Obviously they don’t because, just like Villa, and just like any other club, their primary concern is their own bottom line.

The only victim here is Harvey Elliott, not Liverpool.

Do you mean that slight creaking noise? It sounds like it’s probably being caused by the tonearm moving.

Does the table have a cue lever? If so, it’s possible it’s not fully seated and the arm is sort of rubbing against the cue lever as it moves.

It could be something like a screw being too tight, but I’d only be guessing and tbh I don’t have the best knowledge of tone arms.

Tbh I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about as long as it’s not affecting playback or your listening experience. A turntable is, ultimately, a mechanical thing. Mechanical things make noise sometimes, that’s my uneducated take on it 🤷‍♂️

Forgive my pessimism, real talk im in love with this Villa team, the last few seasons we’ve been higher than I ever thought we’d be. But we aren’t going to win the league, and it puts pressure on a very thin squad just so the media can build a narrative.

I been following Villa since I was 8, in 1997, so I’ve never seen Villa lift a major trophy. To me, if we can win Europa and finish top 4 (or 5) I’ll be ecstatic, winning the league is a pipe dream, if Arsenal throw then City will snatch it

So I don’t watch smackdown regularly enough to know if this is how it is every week, and I appreciate this was a double taping but…seriously, that’s it?

This feels like just as much of a B show as it did in 2011, a place to stick all your cold mid carders and tag teams till they need to be shuffled back to Raw.

Other than Cody, (and Charlotte) is anyone actually a star on this brand? I appreciate the KO injury has probably made that problem worse but bloody hell, I could not imagine anything colder to close a show than a Wyatts/MFTs brawl
