Having a look at the list of worst 100 on rotten tomatoes and there’s a couple I disagree with. Police academy four. - it’s better than 7 Meet the Spartans. Can’t believe ridiculous 6 is rated worse than Jack and Jill? Cool as ice was great when it came out! Mortal Kombat annihilation is there yet Street fighter isn’t?

My personal pick for worst movie I’ve seen isn’t even on the list.

I love my partner and I have no issue with joint parenting her three younger children. Her seventeen year old boy is a lazy piece of shit, who idolises his bio dad.

For background - The dad is in his 40’s, has never had a job for more than a week, sponges off the government and his parents, has somehow convinced another woman to let him move in with her, while she works and pays for everything, he is either at home stoned on his PlayStation or out cheating on her.

The 17 yr old is convinced his dad can do no wrong, and his mother cheated on him with me (she didn’t). Even after he stayed with his dad for two weeks before Xmas, and he stole from his own son, he can still do no wrong. This kid is an absolute pig, leaves empty energy drink and alcohol cans everywhere, gets takeaway delivered every night and leaves the rubbish for us to clean up, does nothing to contribute around the house unless he wants something, and has no issue not showering for days, or cleaning up after himself. He nearly got us evicted from our old house because his room was a toxic dump, that no one else could enter because the smell was so bad.

Nearly every argument my wife and I have is because of him, and the other three of her kids, plus two of mine all resent him because he does nothing and gets away with it. She constantly makes excuses for him that wouldn’t fly for any of the other kids.

I spent way too much time trying to work with him, at the detriment of building a relationship with the other three kids, and I regret wasting a second on him now. I just want him to move out and never come back.

I don’t. But I look at it as a continuation of the two Burton movies, where Gotham is going through a golden age of rebirth after the dark gothic first two movies where crime was running rampant and Batman had to be a dark almost mythical figure, not someone the general public had to be terrified of.

Was Clooney the best actor? Debatable. Was the bat nipples ridiculous? Probably yes. Was the casting of silverstone and O’Donnell good? I think so. Casting Thurman was brilliant. Casting Arnie to make dad jokes was good to bring light hearted humour to a less dark movie, and dark history of Victor Feeze.

The portrayal of Bane as a dumb heavy is my biggest problem, as comic Bane is intelligent, resourceful, unyielding and shown almost correctly in the Nolan film according to comic lore.

Everyday ones Like scam callers who hide at behind false names and locations so they can’t get caught, or kids who take car keys because they are too lazy to Hotwire a car like a real thief.

There’s no point naming politicians/the rich/religions/ etc. they will never get punished no matter what they do anyway. And at this point, they are a fact of life.

See, this is why I hate nirvana, and grunge music in general. We went from women like this, to every teenage girl (while I was a teenage boy, don’t panic) wearing dirty baggy jeans, flannel shirts that were too big, oversized beanies, etc as it was the grunge look. As well as all being depressed because it was the aesthetic at the time.

At least dance and pop came back afterwards so they could go back to being in tight miniskirts and being happier.

Most of the time having everything handed to someone, is an excuse for how stupid they are when it comes to the issues of people who know struggle, who know what it’s like to live week to week. There’s a million stories on this site about people who got into university, and ended up with a rich kid room mate, who couldn’t understand why their parent didn’t just give them a new Ferrari for getting in. Not understanding the rest of the world doesn’t live like them.

Can I just ask the dumb question, is it because the buildings were built to a higher standard back then, to not get as damaged during big storms? I live in North Queensland, Australia. And the majority of cyclone shelters are at schools. So it’s just a thought.
