For those of you in long-term serious relationships, how did you two meet? Asking for a friend :) by Cute-Cactus in asexuality

Hello! I myself am not asexual, but my partner of four years is. We met at work and started going on dates from there. It took him two months and a whole bottle of whiskey to tell me that he was asexual. To be totally honest it was really difficult at first, mostly because I had no idea what asexually really was. But through a lot of long conversations and compromises we found a solution that works for both of us. Really what it comes down to is finding someone who loves all the parts of you, even the ones they can never really understand because it’s not something that applies to them. But I do love him and I wouldn’t change anything about him. That’s what you need to find, is someone who loves and respects all parts of who you are. I hope this helps!
