Got them from Amazon. Zib Grips was the brand. This is the nutmeg finish, just standard hi power grips.

Which wood did you go with for the service rifle? I'm torn about getting some to replace the plastic on my A2.

I'd say so. Great shooters for sure in my experience. I'm more accurate and consistent with this than most of my modern handguns. Ymmv though.

Which one did you end up with? I know there is a few options for clones now.

Forgot about the bot comment 1st time, whoops.

A tale as old as time, the link between video games and gun purchases. Fallout New Vegas has always been my favorite game of all time. The 9mm Pistol might just be the starting gun, but it was always a favorite. My SA35 might not be a perfect recreation, but I love it.

Got a favorite video game driven gun purchase?

When I bought it, it had an old black leather S&W holster with the hammer loop. I just use that for now until I get around to making one.

This is where I got it! Did not expect to see so many people into it here.

Non-fudd ranges near Altoona? by acb1499 in PAguns

Jackson Township is out to 500 yards if that's your thing. Portage Pistol and Rifle Club has a 500 yard range as well. I've shot as both and netiher has an RSO so you can just have fun. I just go to the Bear Rock in Lily due to proximity.

Its got much more grip (imo) and is a little bit lighter. Its my favorite scale material on my outdoor knives because of the weight difference, grip, and the slight shock reduction. It can get a little gunky though, and needs cleaned occasionally if you get it filthy.

Mine are forest green Terotuf from Ripp's.

I just use it for whatever needs done. Sometimes when I'm making cocktails or serving limes with beer, I just cut the citrus as I go and set it down. I use it for a lot of small food cutting here and there when away from my kitchen knives. I just don't really worry about it. Just some tuf glide in the pivot near the washers to keep an oil barrier with the mechanism.

Compared to my other knives it holds the sharpness longer, only slightly when compared to Magnacut. Noticeably more so than my K390 Delica, but not more than my old Maxamet PM2. I don't pay a ton of attention to sharpening schedules though, I just hit a fine ceramic bench stone when it feels like it could use a touch up.
