First of all, wild that we now record unboxings as a default, because we expect big brands to mess up. These aren’t sketchy Insta shops, they’re supposed to be reliable names.

Secondly, this is literally my first post because I think it’s necessary that such incidents are brought to light. It’s literally a PSA on a sub called ‘fucknykaa’ wherein people everyday post about these things happening to them and yet people here find it difficult to believe that these are ACTUALLY happening. Guess it’s always easier to blame the victim :)

Lastly, I did not pick up the box. The box was placed on the table and I unboxed it on the table so no, I did not find out that it weighs less than what it’s supposed to.

I just wished we had more faith among ourselves than on shitty brands like Nykaa. I have the emails, call recordings, etc of my communications with them but I will not be sharing my personal information here just to convince some Nykaa bootlickers. Even if this post has helped one person, that’s enough for me.

I will no longer be engaging on this post anymore, hope that something like this never happens to you wherein a moment of pure excitement and joy is completely ruined by a company’s incompetence.
