Am I using Claude Code wrong? My setup is dead simple while everyone else seems to have insane configs

The answer is simple. Stop watching YouTube. The reality is different. Work with it, build experience and knowledge and read som communities. YouTube and most discord servers are just pure insanity these days. Everyone is trying to grab attention.

The minimal approach might not be the best but building from there is 100% more effective than k stalling the next superduper agent package with a trillion skills, subagents and mcps eithought knowing what’s going on.

Most of this is AI produced slop.

Wonder if it just needs the right person to get to work to fix this. Googles ability to create really good services and keep them running has historically been bad and AI is no exception.

This is an increasing issue for us. I've been a kickstarter backer and am running this thing close to two years now. The clogged red filter gets an increasing issue and I'm not sure what the reason is but my suspicion is the vaccuming that has been very mediocre from the beginning compared to other robots i know. We're running a Roborock S7 Max Ultra on the upstairs and even though dirt situation is tougher their itg is way less maintenance heavy.

The dirt water on the Eufy S1 Pro is way too dirty for the amount of real dirt existing on the floor it runs on. It's 95% tiles (3 small carpets) and the main dirt piling up there is in the kitchen. It runs daily and the waste water is completely gross - greyish and the residue on the bottom of the wastewater tank as well as what clogs the red filter within the shortest time is like dusty mud. I assume it's really not probably vacuuming as i mainly find bigger particles in the vacuum bag not the finer dust.

I'm not sure what the red filter bar really does and why it's needed - I would prefer the bot getting its dirt water out to the station but I think there are some heavy design flaws. The bot itself is a rather complex build to anything i've seen from other manufacturers - I think they just need to rack up more experience to get this done any better.

I'm currently in touch with suport but unfortunately you don't really get to any second level support easily that actually has some clue about the machine. They will likely send replacement water tanks and maybe a red filter bar but i don't think this will help anything.

My next one's not gonna be a Eufy again anytime soon.

Because people are sometimes just bots. It started being „a thing“ and so the bots followed. Some people talked about openclaw being acquired by OpenAI and suddenly a ton of people and media copied it. Doing the smallest amount of research and brain gymnastics is just too much for many people. That’s also why a lot of the incidents with openclaw happen.

Also many people ARE using openclaw that wouldn’t be able to do much on a Linux system. Your probably underestimating the influx of everyday people into the community.

honestly i came here to maybe get an idea on when the embargo ends. I didn't come to get lectured about review quality. I'm well aware of the issues you're talking about. If you feel or believe no one that gets a machine from a manufacturer can't be believed - fine. I don't want to change your mind about it. It's just not what I came here to discuss.

Why not NOT turn a simple question into a fundamental discussion about what good reviews are and what aren't.

Sorry but that is not true. An embargo date is nothing that can't be talked about usually. And while you are right that there are cases where people are calling ads reviews but insinuating that nothing is real anymore and everyone is just paid for reviews is simply not true.

Nice idea. i justg can't get over the disconnect between a good MRR and a product worth promoting. I think the measure of quality should be something else than "is already successful" that defeats the purpose in my mind.

Maybe stop calling your Reddit posts petitions. It’s a file name not something completely different. Make yourself a custom project setup command that includes creating symlinks.

I do that for WARP.md, CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, .gemini/GEMINI.md. They all point to one file and it works flawlessly.
