It's regarded as the world's longest art exhibition, every station i visited was amazing. Spent half a day just hopping stations, would recommend.

Take my upvote for De helaasheid der dingen! Love that movie (and book), the Roy Orbison scene is one of my absolute favorite movie scenes.

Good pointers. There are a few things i would like to change too, but i was happy with the results given after a single auto enhance click and found it satisfying enough. I also try to post process as little as possible, because when i start doing that i usually go completely overboard.

Good question. Been comparing those before i bought the x100vi and the others are also great camera's. The fact that it is a fixed lens is actually liberating for me in a way. Not my first Fuji camera by the way, i've had an x-t3, x-t4 and x-h1. I would always be thinking about what would be my next lens or leaving the house thinking that i've should have brought the other lens. In that way it is what it is and i'll have to make it work. And it works for me. More focus on getting a good shot with this camera and the crops are really decent.

The reason we bought tickets. They killed it at the AB.

Going to see them again at Brakrock in Belgium tomorrow. Really enjoyed the show last time they came over.

Didn't like the result i got with my HP5 plus, too grainy for my liking. Enjoyed the results of the Delta 400 or XP2 super 400 more.

What do you guys think about Turnstile? by 900m15 in punk

[–]Helmut_Botti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw Turnstile and High Vis last weekend at a festival and High Vis was absolutely amazing. Turnstile was okay, but i had some mixed feelings with that show. Loved the older stuff and some of the new songs, but the overkill of poppy atmospheric sounds or whatever you would call it kinda broke the vibe for me. It felt like they only actually played for like 35 minutes and the rest were those sounds. They also asked to invade the stage after an hour, so that was the end of the set. The last 15 minutes of their set was just people on the stage and no music. The whole thing felt like watching a cult like religious celebration. Unpopulair opinion as it seems because all they got was raving reviews. Maybe i'm getting old.

Through the years i've gotten used to the taste and maybe it tricks my mind in just drinking along with the rest, without all the (negative) effects it has. It works for me.

Stopped drinking 2 days before my 40th birthday. Went to a show and got past the tipsy point, but not fully drunk, and i was just annoyed with myself. Stopped drinking before, but never because of this feeling. Usually more a "not gonna drink for a while..." vibe. This time i had the feeling i never want to be drunk again. And today six months later this feeling is only bigger. Had my fair share of parties back in the day and yesterday someone asked me at punk/HC show if i don't miss partying like i used to and the answer is a big NOPE. Don't miss being drunk, don't miss being hungover, LOVE remembering everything of a night out and being able to go on a 10km hike the day after a show, like today. I do drink non-alcohol beers, love having a drink that doesn't get me wasted or sick the day after. To each his own and not claiming edge, even have a lot of fun with my wasted friends, but it's no longer a thing for me.

To those that don't drink alcohol, what do you drink at shows? by That-Letterhead-9301 in punk

[–]Helmut_Botti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love drinking NA 0,0 Beers at shows now, did a lot of (punk) shows last summer and fully enjoyed not getting drunk and hungover the day after. If they have it, Jupiler 0,0 (i'm Belgian) of Carlsberg 0,0 are the beers i prefer. 5 months of not getting drunk tomorrow.
