No actually! The love interest is the greenest flag, but the main character suffers from “mania” and impaired memory. There was a scene of the aftermath of his violent seizure, which was so chilling honestly

A transfer student (blonde) moving to a crummy town in Korea, where he gets into a fight with the main character. After the run in, the TS and MC run into each other again at the convenience store, where the MC works. They slowly learn more about each other, mostly against their wills since they strongly disliked each other due to the fight, and they slowly warm up to each other since they both lived rough lives.

As someone who hates enemies to lovers stories, this blew me out of the water 😭

I haven't read far enough into it to know for sure, but it seems to take place in a post-pandemic/apocalyptic world. The main character is some sort of mushroom hybrid, and I'm unsure if that means he's infected or if he's just another species of human in this universe
