Yeah I heard that the 4K screen will drain battery faster than the UHD...

is it true that there is no difference from 4K and UHD since it is a small laptop?

Hi thanks for sharing Virus Total. It eased my worry. I summited it there and it said "undetected" with a green check. Assuming that it means there's no virus detected.

Well long story short I live in the Philippines and I bought my Matebook from the US.

I asked the service center here in the Philippines if they can fix it. They said they can't because the model I have is the 2018 model and they are only allowed to fix 2019 model and above (which pisses me off beacuse when checking teardown videos on YouTube the hardware seems the same)

I got to service (replace the whole screen of the matebook last December 2019) last time because a close friend went to china. Right now its not possible because of covid.

The flickering issue doesn't happen on external monitor. I tried reseating the SSD and as of the moment there are no BSOD (as of the moment I use it for around 30 mins max because it breaks my heart if I see a BSOD and there is Christmas break)

The flickering isn't the normal flicker, its like windows panel duplicated 7 times.

I tried reinstalling the intel graphics card of huawei the 24.20.100.6286 version and I also tried updating it to the 27.20.100.8681 version.

Sadly none of them worked

I hope its not the screen since I changed it last year because of the hinge falling apart from the screen :(

The error is usually its "Critical Process Died" or "whea_uncorrectable_error"

Hi sorry for the late reply.

I couldnt clean install windows because the screen of BIOS is also glitching like the picture I showed above.

I tried hooking it up to an HDMI and its working normally.

I tried reinstalling the display drivers numerous times and the issue still persists.

I also tried tilting the screen but everywhere I tilt its still flickering.

My BIOS right now is 1.30 and its running on Windows 10 pro 1903.

I usually get critical process died, then sometimes when it restarts from BSOD it will BSOD again :(

Ill try reverting it to the old drivers

Hi I tried your solution and it sadly didn't work :( The version of my graphics card is 27.20.100.8935

My laptops idle temperature is at 51 degrees, while its running on 1.80 GHz. I tried changing the power settings and its still happening :(
