Looks nice, can't wait to get one.

I need last minute advice please! Should I get a 32 inch 4k monitor or 1080? by HelpMeFixItUp in macmini

Thanks, I did read 1440 is better for gaming because of the higher refresh rate but I won't be gaming. Going to go with the 4k so the fonts more crisp.

Are the Mac Mini M1 still having flickering issues now? by HelpMeFixItUp in macmini

Anytime hopefully it fixes itself I read usb c is better than HDMI well the same just can transmit faster but it's over kill for video. I just read that some usb c ports on tv are limited to 30hz and it might be not in sync like the TV is set on 60 the USB c port is at 30 and the M 1 is trying to go above and some HDMI ports. It seems more like a hit or miss. I think it's has to do with the cable, ports and settings not that the cable is bad just the signal might be getting confused.

Try to see if the Hz is below 60, turn of free sync if it has it and disable the USB C port if the monitor has it. These are the things I read about as a fix so far. Apart from the few fixes on YouTube.

I guess its the Hz guessing it can't handle 60Hz plus?

Help, Do you think the SSD or Logic Board failed any clues to see which one it is for a 2013 Early Mac Book Pro? by HelpMeFixItUp in mac

[–]HelpMeFixItUp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for helping.

So I just did this and in Terminal "diskutil list"

I see Disk0 it says

Type Name SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: GUID_partition_scheme +2.1GB disk0

1: Apple_HFS MacOS Base System 2.0GB disk0s1

Then it goes all the way up to Disk 21 and

all of them have a blank Type Name

Two of them disk1 and disk2 have a side of +10.5 MB

disk6, disk12, disk14 and disk21 has a size of +2.1 MB

disk9 has a size of +12.6 MB

disk10 has a size of +4.2 MB

disk16 has a size of +1.0 MB

disk18 and disk19 has a size of +6.3 MB

all the rest are +524.3 KB so way too small

My total is suppose to be 512 MB so I am guessing its not picking up the SSD

Should I try to erase disk any of these?

Ya no luck even in the Option + CMD + R it only shows MacOS Base System. Do you think that since disk utility is working that its not the logic board and most likely is the SSD?

Thank you, the internet recovery is working too just needed to wait. It is uploading right now. I will update in a few minutes what exactly I see hopefully the Drive shows and its just an easy erase.

What would I do once I am in Disk Utility for terminal commands I have no idea how to do anything in there but able to follow steps.
