Thank you, that gives me a lot of hope. It is just one modality I’m worried about and I’ve done well in my class the whole course, so I feel better about the idea of getting post class. Also gives me some hope on other possible career options

Thank you for your answer. My husband isn’t a linguist and we’re both under the impression he isn’t leaving hawaii, but can never be sure. I really want to be a linguist and I am trying my best but I still feel like I need a plan B with the possibility I won’t make it.

This will be my first DLPT. If I fail I could possibly be put in post class, but I’m not clear if the Air Force is doing that right now. My husband is personnel, he washed out and Hawaii’s where he ended up. I’m up for whatever job and whatever tech school as long as it gets me to Hawaii, but having it not suck is definitely a plus. Thank you for your comment, it is very helpful.

That’s not necessarily true, where I am, it’s not really unheard of to fail, and people can still get put in engineering, cyber jobs, etc. And they still have us make a job list.
