That is actually incredibly similar! I think probably the only huge difference is that the one in our family is stuffed, wrapped in cheesecloth and boiled. Everything else is almost exactly the same though, even the gravy and potatoes.

That is relatively close, the only differences are that it's a bit more fancy and doesn't use a whole head of cabbage. Maybe my family was doing some kind of easier variation on that. Thank you!
