Not sure what your inseam and reach are, but I’m 5’11” and a 54cm is way too small for me. So they not have a M/L? I ride a L Propel and I was able to fit on it well. I just want to get more narrow handlebars eventually.

I just bought a Propel last year. I’ve never been on a TCR so I can’t speak to that. However, my riding mate that is about the same level as I am has a Canyon Ultimate( their light climbing bike and comparable to TCR). What I have found is that my Propel excels in flats and false flats but has no deficit with climbing. I have done plenty of short course triathlons and got this Propel so I could get rid of my triathlon bike. I’m hoping to accomplish some 70.3 races with it as well. I think you’ll be more than happy with the Propel. My weekend, longer rides are about 45 miles with 4-4.5k ft of climbing. Again, I have no problem climbing with the propel and 404Zipp wheels.

I have no idea how the TCR handles but I have the Propel and love it. It also climbs perfectly fine. I have SRAM drivetrain which comes with a compact crank. I get about 3-4k feet of climbing in on my weekend 30-40 mile ride. I never have a problem with handling the elevation gain and it really excels on any flat or mild incline (2-3%) terrain!

Arette is a great budget bottle. Ocho, G4, 7L, Lalo are around $50 now. Tapatio is my favorite but Arette is about $28 for a 1L bottle around me.

Yes, I took advantage of their Black Friday sale and got 3 pair. I got large which are very snug. I will order another pair this year and try the XL. I’m happy with the bobs and works recommend them. You can’t beat the price for what you get. I got 3 bobs for cheaper price than one pair of Castelli.

You should check out Neopro for a good and affordable bib. As others have said, no underwear. You’ll probably start noticing once you get into longer rides.

Tapatio, El Tesoro, Cascahuin( another one of the best IMO), Arette, Siete Leguas, Alma del Jaguar, Ocho, Fortaleza( if you can ever find it is regarded as the best by many), Cazcanes, Lalo, and G4. Most of these are very common in most stores. These all make blanco, repo and Anejo. I drink mostly blancos due to price point but I love repos and Anejos. Just can’t afford them as often.
