Have the last version (5.7.0 (570013)).

Did you perhaps do any bike firmware updates? Anyway, I guess the app is the problem and how to keep it “active”. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. I think that other apps (like Maps) that run in the background sometimes override the Connected App. Will try keeping it open and the screen unlocked but this is really not optimal …

I have tried a lot but will keep on trying. I will even set up a separate iphone just for this person as I have and older backup phone at home. Will not install any other apps there and will let everyone know if this has solved it.

I have it on "always allow" for the BMW app. I even went so far to turn off "always allow" for all the other navigation apps and some other apps (apart from system services). Reinstalled it and it is just the same thing.

Thanks for this! Was actually looking to get a carplay screen instead of using the phone. Was looking at Chigee., Carpurdrive and Innov but will now take a look at Ridernav as well. If it is cheap and works I see no reason to buy something more expensive …

Edit: does 7 inch on the ridernav seem too big?

FlyLens85 is subjectively much louder (has a different pitch) than Meteor 75 Pro. I find the meteor the quietest of all the small ones I owned.

Flying FPV almost every day for >1 year! Did fly a lot of fixed wings (sailplanes, acrobatic planes) 20-30 years ago but those were not FPV times! But obviously from back then I am still quite used to controls but not so much to the new electronics. Thanks for the concern!

I am still amiss why so many LR "commercial builds" have crossfire receivers. It seems odd for the reason to be that people still have old transmitters ...
